<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<br />
</strong>Within Grant Thornton&#8217;s Business Advisory Services (BAS) practice, we are seeking a summer intern to help us in assisting our clients to better understand and manage their business and technology risks through evaluation of the design and operating effectiveness of their internal controls. Interns will assist clients and other BAS professionals in performing financial, operational and information technology (IT) control assessments, IT general controls audits in support of financial statements and other attest services, as well as security assessments and Sarbanes Oxley-related advisory services.</p>
<p>As part of an engagement team, interns will work with client personnel to understand, document, and assess their business processes and information systems, identify key risks and internal controls, perform testing of internal controls, document the results of their testing, and assist in developing recommendations to improve control design or effectiveness or efficiencies of operations.</p>
<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS<br />
</strong>To qualify for this excellent career and learning opportunity, candidates must have the following:<br />
â€¢Pursuing a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Business, Accounting or MIS<br />
â€¢Overall and Major minimum GPA of 3.0<br />
â€¢Junior Status<br />
