Founded in 1884 by Dr. Russell Conwell as an informal adult-education outgrowth of his Baptist Temple ministry, Temple College was chartered in 1888 and became Temple University in 1907. Located in North Philadelphia, Temple University is the most diverse college campus in America. Temple University is the 28th largest university in the United States, the sixth largest provider of professional education in the country, and known for its programs in law, education, media, business, health sciences, and music.
Fox School of Business
Temple University’s Fox School of Business is the largest, most comprehensive business school in the greater Philadelphia region and among the largest in the world, with more than 6,000 students, 145 full-time faculty members and 51,000 alumni.

The Institute for Business and Information Technology provides the cutting-edge knowledge and smart labor necessary to create and sustain excellence in information technology and eBusiness. As part of its mission, IBIT regularly partners with businesses, community organizations, government, and educational institutions on specific programs and projects. Moreover, the Institute works with our corporate partners on collaborative research projects that produce actionable knowledge and publishable results. Workshops, speakers, and research reports provide a forum for sharing the research.
