The Association of Management Information Systems (AMIS) is a professional organization open to any student interested in joining the synergistic revolution of business management and technology in a global economy. AMIS offers students opportunities that forge professional development skills, structured social and networking events, and an outlet to bring change to our communities through MIS and business.
AMIS is committed to giving MIS students opportunities to develop essential skills and character necessary to become business leaders in a competitive global marketplace. Students are given opportunities to develop hands-on experience in the classroom with student-led tutoring services and in the field through an extensive array of speakers from a broad spectrum of MIS-related careers. Students are challenged to be elected to officer positions that bring forth their leadership potential and to participate in presenting fresh ideas that benefit their academic pursuits and their communities.
