Association of Management Information Systems

Association of Management Information Systems (AMIS) is a Student Professional Organization (SPO) that was built from the ground up at The Fox School of Business and Management of Temple University. AMIS is dedicated to launching our members careers and continuously building the Management Information Systems (MIS) community of Students, Faculty, Administrators, and Alumni. Earning a degree has not proven to be a sure-fire way of launching your career post-graduation–regardless of your major. AMIS has the resources to provide our members with supplemental MIS learning opportunities, visibility on the job market, and networking opportunities.

Train Ride

Come join AMIS on a train ride, corn maze and pumpkin picking extravaganza.  The train is run by the New York Susquehanna & Western Technical & Historical Society and our own Dr. Paul Weinberg will be the engineer!

Tickets are available for purchase on Tuesday and Thursday (1:10 - 2:30pm) in the BizTech lab or contact Taahir to make alternative payment arrangements.

AMIS will be rearranging a car pool and wil be meeting outside of Speakman Hall between 9:45 and 10:45 am.  Please contact Taahir if you need a lift.  If you wish to meet us there, please come early - the town fills up quickly!  Please give yourself about 1.5 hours to get to Phillipsburg from Temple and directions through Google Maps can be found here.
